S. B. Dissanayake, national organiser of the United National Party (UNP) says that he would be resigning from all posts in the UNP.
He made the announcement at a media briefing being held in Colombo this morning.He also said that he would resign from the post of Opposition Leader of the Central Provincial Council.
Dissanayake added that he would work towards the victory of President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the forthcoming presidential election.
