The special UNP convention commenced this morning at the Nawaloka Grounds in Welisara.
The function is being held under the patronage of Opposition Leader and United National Party leader Ranil Wickremasinghe.Common Presidential candidate General Sarath Fonseka is also at the convention.
The representatives of the political parties supporting General Sarath Fonseka are also present at the UNP Convention.
