In order to develop the country and be successful, patience should be exercised, said President Mahinda Rajapaksa at a function held in Galle yesterday.
The head of state said that the government was providing facilities for education and is committed towards creating a society with morals, for future generations.The President was participating as the chief guest at the annual prize giving at the Sangamitta Girls' School in Galle this morning.
The event was graced by a large crowd including ministers, Southern Province Governor Kumari Balasuriya, the staff at the school, students and parents.
“No matter how many good people we have in the country and no matter what good work they do, most people don’t see these things,” he said.
