All restrictions for the travel of government servants along the A9 road have been completely removed.
“Government servants will be able to travel without any hindrance in their official vehicles, to the Northern Province,” said Major General G. A. Chandrasiri, Governor of the Northern Province.Previously approval had to be sought from the Defence Ministry prior to traveling to the North.
